This wedding has always been one of my all time favorites. Meredith and Peter were married last summer at the Triple S Ranch in Calistoga. The day was filled with beauty, plain and simple. There were no crazy frills or bling – Meredith and Peter shared a sweet joyful love and enjoyed simplicity. Their wedding day was just them.
Meredith got ready in the beautiful white Victorian house on the property, and the couple’s dog stood watch as she prepared for the day. Her gown was a simple silhouette, yet stunning, and Meredith’s mother’s wedding ring was sewn into her dress.
Meredith and Peter said their vows underneath a huge tree, with notes from their loved ones strung across the trunk. Cocktail hour took place on the deck of the large barn, and the reception happened inside underneath the rafters dressed with strung lights. The tables had a farm-to-table feel, decorated with fresh flowers and table numbers that featured illustrations of vegetables. On the tables were milk bottles from the groom’s family dairy farm, and the desserts were all home made by family and friends. It was such a wonderful day filled with personal touches, and everyone dined and danced the night away surrounded by love and laughter.
